unicorn remembers your courses so your AI agent doesn’t have to start from nothing every session. You deploy it once, to your own free Cloudflare account. Every hour it reads your sources, records what changed, groups what belongs to the same course, and writes a short daily digest. Your agent (Claude Code, claude.ai, Claude desktop, Claude on your phone, Cowork or ChatGPT) then reads that memory through one connection. For a two-minute look at how it works, see the unicorn site. unicorn runs no AI model of its own. Your agent does all the reasoning, with the model you already use. unicorn only reads from your sources and never writes to them: it cannot post to Ed, submit to Moodle or Canvas, or send email.

Who it is for

unicorn is for a student who already uses an AI agent and wants it to know what happened since yesterday. It is single-user: one deployment holds one person’s courses, and nobody else can read it. You deploy it yourself, and you stay in control of the credentials it holds. It is not a replacement for the Moodle, Ed Discussion or OnTrack tools on this site. Those give your agent live access. unicorn adds the part they don’t have, which is memory.

Live and memory

The same source can reach your agent two ways, and the best setup uses both. Ask your agent “what changed in UNIT since Monday” and it uses memory. Ask it to read a specific thread in full and it uses the live source. Use memory for changes and cross-course questions, and live access for detail.

What you get

  • A daily digest, written each morning when something happened: deadlines in the next seven days, new notices, and what changed.
  • A change feed with typed events, such as a deadline that moved or a grade that was released.
  • A single view of a course across Ed, Moodle, Canvas and email, filed into buckets per assignment.
  • Upcoming deadlines across every source.
  • Plans that you save from one device and read from another.
  • Four playbooks your agent runs on a schedule: weekly plan, assignment breakdown, forum brief and triage.
  • Six small interactive widgets in clients that can show them.
  • Your own read-only tools, defined in plain language.
